On 7th of April, 2023, Dr. Zolboo D., director of the Institute of International Studies, Mongolian Academy of Sciences, and Dr. Bayarmend B., director of Institute of Mongolian Studies, Inner Mongolian University, PRC, renewed and signed the cooperation agreement between the two institutions.
At the beginning of signing ceremony, Dr. Zolboo D. emphasized the traditional research cooperation of many years, and expressed his gratitude for Dr. Bayarmend B. for dedicating his time to visit and extend the cooperation agreement which was expired during the pandemic. He introduced the results of the institute's academic and research work, some changes made in the institute's structure in recent years, and the measures to be implemented in the future. Zolboo D. noted that it is always a pleasure to cooperate with the Institute of Mongolian Studies of Inner Mongolia University.
Dr. Bayarmend B., director of Inner Mongolia University's Institute of Mongolian Studies, said that China attaches great importance to cooperation with neighboring countries, and attaches great importance to research and academic work in this area. Mongolia is an important neighbor and an important partner. Therefore, he noted that cooperation in the academic field on Mongolian studies and Mongolian-Chinese relations have always been supported. He also thanked director Zolboo D. for kindly accepting the proposal to extend the cooperation agreement, emphasizing that there are many good opportunities for our further cooperation after the pandemic time.
After the signing ceremony, the director of the Institute of International Studies of MAS, Zolboo D., presented the institute's latest works to the director of the Institute for the Study of Mongolia, Inner Mongolia University, Bayarmend B.
Dr. Turdalai R., Scientific Secretary of Institute of International Studies, MAS, Dr. Bazardorj D., head of Chinese Studies Department, Institute of International Studies, MAS, Dr. Yaruu, head of Institute of Mongolian Studies of Inner Mongolia University, and other attendants were present at the ceremony as well.
