Dr. D. Zolboo, Director and Dr. R. Turdalai, Academic Secretary of the Institute of International Studies were welcomed Mr. Kelly H.Busby, First Secretary and Political Section Chief, Ms. Maura O’Brien-Ali, Political Officer and Specialist Mrs. G.Zolboo of the Embassy of USA in Mongolia at the Institute on November 9, 2021.
The meeting was attended by researchers from the Department of Sinology, and Center of Korea Studies of the “Third Neighbor” Studies Department. During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on the changes in the external environment of Mongolia, and potential changes and trends in Mongolia relations with the PRC, ROK and DPRK in post COVID-19 era. Moreover, the U.S. government’s official positions on relevant issues were expressed. In the end of meeting, the two sides agreed to hold regular meetings to explore opportunities for further cooperation.
