The first event of the “Ambassador’s Podium” Honorary Lecture Series for 2026 featured His Excellency Mr. Almas Seitakynov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia, as the guest speaker. He delivered a lecture entitled “A Brief Overview of Mongolia–Kazakhstan Relations and Future Development Prospects.”
He began his lecture by highlighting Kazakhstan’s foreign policy priorities, strategic partnerships, foreign investment, trade and economic development, the manufacturing sector, transport and logistics, agriculture, energy, and advanced technologies, as well as the impact of technological advancement on the country’s development.
The Ambassador also highlighted the strategic partnership between Mongolia and Kazakhstan and discussed potential areas for collaborative scientific and technological research, including ecology, desertification, the impacts of climate change, geology, remote sensing, big data, and cultural cooperation.
He concluded the discussion by emphasizing that bilateral cooperation could be further strengthened through expanded exchanges in education, sports, and academic research, as well as through enhanced collaboration between the professional institutions of the two countries.
