Next year Mongolia will mark many significant historical events
and anniversaries in the field of International Relations. In coming fall 2020,
Mongolia and Poland will be marking its 70th anniversary of the establishment
of the diplomatic relations. On the occasion of marking the historical event, meeting
between Dr. Zolboo.D, Director of IIA, Dr. Altai.D, head of department of “Third
neighbor studies” and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
Republic of Poland to Mongolia, Mr. Krzysztof Bojko and assistant G.Amarjargal
was held on September 19th.
Ambassador emphasized some features on Mongolian foreign policy on
two neighbor Russia and China, Third neighbor policy concept and the meeting
touched on a range of issues concerning opportunities to expand cooperation. As
a result of the meeting two sides agreed to implement number of joint actions
to develop Polish studies in Mongolia, intensification of scholar exchange and to jointly celebrate the 70th anniversary of
establishment of diplomatic relations.
Moreover, cooperation agreement
between Mongolian academy of Sciences and Polish Academy of Sciences were
signed in 2013 and the agreement was re-signed by the managements of the both academies
in this July, 2019 for the duration of 2019-2021.
Next week Ambassador will attend the opening ceremony of photo exhibition “Warfare and Bravery of Polish people during the World war II” at the Mongolian National Museum which will be launched on 24th, September and exhibition will be presented to the public for two months.
