Today Our Institute is honoring the the 80th birthday of
the State merit Scholar of Mongolia, a tmember of the International Information
Academy, Doctor (Sc.D), Professor Luvsan Khaisandai.
In 40 years of his career, he served as a Director and
Scientist Secretary at the Institute of Oriental Studies, the Institute of
Oriental Studies, the Institute of International Studies and the Institute of
International Relations. He has authored and published 14 monographs on Mongolian
Foreign Policy and International Studies issues and worked as an author and chief
editor on more than 10 joint works, published more than 180 scientific articles.More than 40 of his works have been published in
reputable scholarly journals in Russia, China, Japan, India, Korea, Turkey, and
Taiwan. He is a true mentor who led dozens of doctoral and master's
dissertations.
Dr. L. Khaisandai’s works are highly regarded in many foreign countries. For instance, in 2013, he was awarded the Friendship medal by the decree of the President of the Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin, and the first ever medal among Mongolian scholars to receive “Gold Medal of Academician Krachkovsky” the highest honor from the Oriental Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
