The library of the Institute of International Studies of MAS, in accordance with its main functions, enriches the library fund with new books and professional magazines, provides quick service to readers and users, and ensures the security of the fund books. Also, activities such as exchange of books and magazines with domestic and foreign cooperating universities and academic institutions are carried out in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations.
The main fund of the Institute's library consists of books, professional journals and professional books in foreign languages published in the fields of international relations, foreign policy, security, international politics, economics and history.
The book fund of the Institute has more than 1,500 professional books published in Mongolian, and more than 2,500 foreign books and magazines (Russian, Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, Indian, German).
In recent years, the Institute's Library has been participating in the "Indian Book Corner" project, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of India, and the "Read Japan" project of the Japan Foundation with the support of the Embassy of Japan, for the 3rd year.
Within the framework of the "E-Institute" goal pursued by the management of the Institute, the library has been fully transferred to the "Koha" program, the catalog has been digitized and the website www.catalog.mas.ac.mn has been launched.
